The Amazon Research & Conservation Collaborative (ARCC) just announced two new funding opportunities to support conservation in the western Amazon Rainforest: the ARCC Research Fellowship ($1500) and ARCC Journalism Fellowship ($1000). These fellowship opportunities return each year to empower local conservation leaders and improve coverage of high-priority conservation challenges in the Amazon Rainforest. Preferential consideration is given to applicants from Latin America, and for projects based in the Ecuadorian Amazon. The application deadlines for the 2026 cycle are January 15th (learn more here).

These opportunities would not be possible without the support of our donors and members. You can support conservation in the Amazon Rainforest, and help empower local conservation leaders, by becoming an ARCC member today. Learn more by clicking the button below.
